Standard Tier is for independent venues run by small teams, volunteers, and people who already have a full day ahead of them. That means the site has to work for everyone who needs to use it, including people who rely on keyboards, screen readers, captions, high-contrast modes, or other assistive technology.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across the public website, the manager dashboard, and the staff training portal. The Equality Act 2010 requires us to make reasonable adjustments so disabled people are not placed at a substantial disadvantage, and WCAG 2.2 AA is the benchmark we use to meet that duty.
We have not yet commissioned an independent WCAG 2.2 audit. The following areas may fall short of full Level AA conformance and are on our list to review:
If something on the site or in the product is hard to use with your assistive technology, tell us. We treat accessibility issues as bugs, not feature requests.
Email jack@standardtier.co.uk with a description of the problem, the page or feature it affects, and the assistive technology you're using. We'll acknowledge the report within two working days and give you a plan or a fix within fifteen working days, depending on complexity.
If you're not happy with our response, the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) can help. You can contact EASS at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
